Kristin Fisher will join CNN in 2021. She will be the Space and Defense Correspondent. She is a reporter covering everything from NASA as well as the Space Force and commercial space companies, to the emergence of Space Tourism. Kristin was raised in the space sector as the daughter and granddaughter of NASA astronauts. In the past five years, she has been covering space policy under the Biden and Trump administrations on FOX News. During that time, she also covered impeachment proceedings for President Trump, the 2020 presdiential campaign, and two attempts by the administration to stop the spread of coronavirus. Former president Donald Trump traveled to Afghanistan for a restricted trip. Before joining the network in the year 2015, Kristin spent nearly a decade advancing through the local news channels which included Grand Junction, Colorado; Little Rock, Arkansas; and Washington, D.C. where she won the Emmy Award as a one-man-band reporter for the Washington, D.C.'s CBS affiliate. Kristin's camera skills has led her to create Field Mouse Films which specialized making documentary-style videos for corporate customers such as Uber Hotels and Resorts as well as Starwood Hotels & Resorts. Kristin earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism at Boston University. Her current residence is Washington, D.C. with her husband and their three year old daughter.
